Who We Are

When David Walker started his building business ‘Beach & Walker’ in 1973, he could not have imagined that he would now be the Chairman of a group of companies of which includes ‘Vulcan Windows Limited’, ‘Vulcan Aluminium Limited’ and Vulcan Solar.

Employing over 150 people at its two factories in Hull, Vulcan Windows and its associate companies can take pride in their state of the art manufacturing and fabrication facilities which ensure that only the highest quality products are manufactured. This enables them to boast of an impressive list of clients to whom PVCu and Aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatory solutions have been provided.

We Specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of first class PVCu and Aluminium products throughout the UK. Along with providing homeowners with a first class service we also catering for all sectors: Local Authorities, Private Companies, Housing Associations and New Build Property Developers.

We handle large commercial window contracts which comes from our commitment to both Health & Safety Accreditation as well as Quality and EPC Standards. We undertake in-house design using our highly experienced team to ensure all areas of the project are carried out in line with the contract requirements whilst ensuring our works interface fully with other areas of the works package both on and of site.

What We Do

Originally we specialised in the making and fitting of timber windows for Hull City Council, with whom we developed an excellent relationship that still exists today. As with many Councils at the time, their decision to provide a maintenance free solution promoted our decision to invest in a programme for the manufacture of uPVC Windows & Doors.

Since then we have further expanded our portfolio of clients to cover supply and fit solutions to the New-Build housing market, Commercial specifiers, Trade users and of course Domestic Customers. Today we are still proud of the solutions we provide and are always looking to invest in the future of our production to aid in our continued goal of providing the best solutions for all our market areas.
