Continuing on from our our last post, which you can read here we have been looking into some strange and wonderful homes around the world.
The Airplane House, Mississippi, USA
As a Kid this was my dream, To live in a plane. I never thought it possible, until today. The Airplane house is from the imagination of Owner Joanne Ussary. After her original home was destroyed, She decided to convert a decommissioned 727 into a home, which set her back a $US30,000 (£20,758).
The Spaceship House, Chattanooga, USA
Known as the “The Spaceship House” this home built in 1973 was the creation of Curtis King. He had this amazing design commissioned and built for his son.
The Toilet House, Suwon, South Korea
On November 21, 2007, South Korean sanitation activists marked the start of a World Toilet Association, lifting the lid on the world’s first toilet shaped home. It was built to promote sanitation and health through modern plumbing.
The Old Log House
This one-bedroom house is hollowed out from a single log that came from a 2,100-year old redwood tree. Art Schmock and a helper took 8 months to hollow out the log into a room 7 ft. high and 32 ft. long, weighing about 42 tons.
